Batching Plant Supervisor - Calamba Plant

POSITION SUMMARY:

Competent leader for Plant operations and personnel handling

Supervise plant operations and maintenance

Supervise flow of communication from plant to project clients and vice versa

Supervise the proper handling of plant and equipment and concrete products and services

Supervise concrete products and services to adhere to the Companys Quality standards

Supervise plant and equipment operation to adhere to companys health and safety standards

DESCRIPTION OF FUNCTIONS:

1. Manages the operations of Concrete batch plant to meet the Divisions objectives and targets.
2. Supervise the daily operations of the batch plant.
3. Communicate and schedule the weekly requirements of projects and all concrete pouring schedules to plant personnel. Ensure that the schedule of RMC supplies to different projects are properly arranged and communicated.
4. Manages the timely delivery of concrete products based on agreed schedule.
5. Manages the coordination of all concrete pouring schedules to all projects. Oversee units assignments pouring schedules and ongoing pouring. Monitor the implementation of site inspections prior to pouring to assure of the readiness of the project.
6. Ensure that the plant has sufficient stock of materials to support RMC production.
7. Ensures that all site inspections are conducted prior to pouring to determine the readiness of the projects.
8. Ensures that all plant equipment is available and in good working condition to meet the requirements.
9. Prepares production and batching reports and the likes to update the CBP Manager.
10. Coordinates with Logistics/Asset Management regarding inventory of raw materials stock status timely procurement of raw materials and maintenance parts.
11. Prepares the monthly monitoring and measurement report on the quality objectives of the department.
12. Prepare monthly reports on accomplishment issuance of materials plant & Transit Mixer utilization and availability.
13. Monitor and seek improvement in the actual costs of production to operate within the budget;
14. Gather data as basis of planning for annual CBP Budget and achieve CBP objectives and targets.
15. Reviews and evaluates actual revenue and NOI against budget and implements measures for improvement.
16. Manages strategic relationships with projects. Attend meetings with projects in regards to preparation to massive pouring and other RMC supply services and other concerns.
17. Ensures that the departments commitment to other divisions are met based on agreed schedule and company quality standard of products. Cascades the plans and programs of CBP to all its personnel and manages their implementation.
18. Ensures that personnel handled have opportunities for continuous improvement and professional development regarding new trends and practices in construction and concrete technology.
19. Conduct regular tool box meetings for safety and quality awareness in the operations of plant and equipment by all personnel involved.
20. Ensure compliance with legal and other applicable requirements and maintain accreditations.
21. Prepare programs for manpower training and development.
22. Performs other tasks as may be assigned from time to time.

COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

• LEADERSHIP ability to supervise personnel assigned at the plant; decisionmaking; initiative; demonstrated ability in the supervision planning and coordination of activities to workers.
• COMMUNICATION oral/written communication; determining plant requirements and coordinate to plant personnel; reporting skills
• CUSTOMER FOCUS results orientation; commitment to tasks; Knowledgeable in the different facets of batching plant work activities.
• TIMELINESS/PUNCTUALITY delivery of output according to plant requirements; organized.
• HOUSEKEEPING/SECURITY/SAFETY ensures implementation of parameters to manage and maintain efficiency in operations
• COMPUTER LITERATE knowledge in MS excel word power point and the likes.
• Can do improvements on the assigned job.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors Degree Holder Licensed Civil Industrial Engineer Mechanical Engineer or equivalent.

• Must be willing to relocate and assigned in DPI Batching Plant Brgy. Bubuyan Calamba City Laguna
