The Scrum Master/Project Manager will be an integral part of the Marketing Operations team resolving impediments and managing scrum processes. The role will be responsible in supporting the delivery of key email inapp and push marketing campaigns as well as involvement in other core PMOrelated activities (e.g. risk and issue identification and resolution reporting tools administration etc.) for the Data Ops and CIRM teams. This role will require you to be proactive and a creative problem solver who consistently exercises the initiative required to keep operational processes and projects moving forward. A successful Project Manager will have a processoriented mindset and the ability to develop and implement processes as well as evaluate the efficiency of existing ones. The role will also require leading biweekly standups retrospectives and other sprint ceremonies to ensure timely delivery of projects.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with marketing teams consultants and internal teams in the sprint management of roadmap deliverables.
- Coordinate work streams to identify dependencies and obstacles and ensure theyre addressed track and communicate progress.
- Ability to know when and how to flag/escalate issues and roadblocks.
- Coordinate activities resources and information across projects and teams.
- Follow and communicate tasks while tracking and reporting the progress of the project(s).
- Support Marketing Operation initiatives and the team as needed by organizing and facilitating scrum ceremonies standup sprint reviews sprint retrospectives sprint planning and other meetings as needed.
- Prepare reports status updates and documentation of internal processes as needed.
- Ability to adequately forecast and manage capacity planning for the team.
- Ability to recognize and accurately diagnose inefficiencies in a teams working processes and implement the right Agile techniques to correct them.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience in project planning and management ideally in an Agile environment.
- 5 years of previous experience as a project manager. Strong teamwork and leadership skills with excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate with both marketing and technical teams.
- Superior stakeholder management via a consultative approach.
- Ability to thrive in and calmly navigate through a certain degree of ambiguity.
- Strong team player positive outlook and a cando attitude.
- Desire to learn and take on additional responsibilities as appropriate.
- Working knowledge of agile methodologies and of Jira/Confluence.
- Ability to be oncall when highpriority business needs necessitate.
Required Education:
- Bachelors Degree in a related subject.
