Job Description
Malander is looking for an organised Expense Creditors Supervisor for a client based in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strong leadership to their accounts payable department and ensuring that the department runs smoothly. The Supervisor will also be responsible for providing the necessary training guidance to their team.
Key responsibilities:

- Daily supervision of Expense Creditors Staff;
- Support the daytoday accounts payable operations;
- Ensuring efficient accurate and timely processing of all invoices;
- Review and validation of invoices processed;
- Review general ledger distribution of AP transactions to ensure accounting and reporting accuracy;
- Building and modifying of payments in Oracle financials;
- Review and monitor weekly and monthly payment runs;
- Manage monthend accounts payable close processes to ensure tasks are completed timely and in accordance with proposed time frames;
- Review monthly supplier reconciliations;
- Designer payments;
- Perform additions responsibilities as requested by Management.
- Matric;
- Appropriate finance qualification.
- 35 years experience in a Supervisory role;
- Experience in a finance retail environment is advantageous;
- Supervisory and experience working within a team dynamic would be advantageous;
- MS Excel and Oracle Financials.
