Job Description

The Role


Responsibilities:
  • Technical Support: Provide expert technical assistance and support to colleagues offering solutions and troubleshooting across various products and services. Your expertise will encompass desktop support in a Windows environment Network troubleshooting.
  • IT Asset Management: Oversee the allocation documentation and return of all IT assets to internal users. Ensure smooth and efficient handling of IT equipment and instruction delivery to new users utilising outsourced providers when appropriate.
  • Microsoft 365 Administration: Manage and maintain Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online Azure Active Directory and SharePoint Online ensuring smooth operations and maximum efficiency.
  • Helpdesk Management: Monitor and manage the helpdesk tickets and incoming calls ensuring all support requests are addressed promptly support tickets are raised and updated and deadlines and SLAs are met.
  • Hardware Support: Set up rebuild and support various hardware including Windows 10 & 11 and Mac OS devices iOS and Android mobile devices printers and network equipment. This may involve handling physical tasks such as lifting during the installation process.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with all departments within the organization to improve IT processes and provide necessary training where required. Maintain clear communication and positive relationship management with outsourced providers and the senior management team.
  • Project Management: Collaborate on assigned project tasks such as email and data migrations to ensure their successful completion.
  • SelfDevelopment: Stay uptodate with industry best practices and pioneering techniques in the IT field attending relevant training courses to enhance your skills and knowledge.




Requirements


  • Proven experience in technical support and IT operations including desktop support network troubleshooting and Microsoft 365 administration.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac OS environments as well as mobile devices and network equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical issues ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with a customercentric approach.
  • Proactive attitude adaptable to changing circumstances and capable of working collaboratively across departments.
  • IT certifications and relevant qualifications are a plus.
