Job Description
- Educate and guide local leadership on the business of the company in accordance with sound corporate governance principles and best practices in line with Accenture’s Code of Business Ethics (“COBE”).
- Counsel, advise, and consult Market Unit Lead (“MUL”) and Country Managing Director (“CMD”) on compliance matters together with the MULD.
- Provide reports on a regular basis, and as directed or requested, to keep the local leadership informed of the operation and progress of compliance efforts.
- Monitor regulatory developments and ensure compliance with all applicable laws including developing compliance programs in line with new and updated laws.
- Develop and work with the MULD on implementing initiatives for the country in accordance with the country/MU compliance, risk management strategy and contracting objectives and priorities.
- Develop, initiate, maintain, and revise policies and procedures for the general operation of local compliance programs and its related activities to prevent illegal, unethical, or improper conduct. Manage day-to-day operation of the program.
