Job Description

Process monthly payroll including regular wages overtime bonuses and deductions.

Maintain accurate and uptodate employee payroll records including tax and benefit deductions.

Verify timekeeping records and ensure compliance with company policies.

Prepare and submit payroll reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Liaise with tax authorities and ensure timely filing of all statutory deductions (SSNIT PAYE etc.).

Resolve employee payroll inquiries and address any discrepancies in a timely and professional manner.

Stay uptodate on changes to Ghanaian payroll laws and regulations and ensure compliance.

Maintain confidentiality of all employee payroll data.

Requirements

Minimum HND in Accounting Finance or a related field (a Bachelors degree is preferred).

At least 2 years of experience in a payroll specialist role.

Strong understanding of Ghanaian payroll laws and regulations including SSNIT PAYE and mandatory minimum wage.

Experience working with payroll software (e.g. Sage Pastel Payroll) is a plus.

Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint).
