Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Cloud Architecture Design: Design and implement scalable secure and costeffective cloud architectures on AWS.
- Solution Implementation: Deploy and manage cloud solutions using AWS services such as EC2 S3 RDS Lambda and more.
- Security and Compliance: Ensure cloud solutions adhere to security best practices and compliance requirements.
- Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize the performance of cloudbased applications and services.
- Automation: Develop automation scripts and tools to streamline cloud operations and improve efficiency.
- Cost Management: Monitor and manage cloud costs identifying opportunities for cost savings.
- Collaboration: Work closely with development operations and security teams to ensure successful delivery of cloud solutions.
- Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for cloud architectures configurations and procedures.
- Training and Mentorship: Provide guidance and training to team members on cloud best practices and technologies.
Critical Skills to Possess:
- Education: Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in cloud architecture with a focus on AWS.
- Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional level) is preferred.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in AWS services (EC2 S3 RDS Lambda etc.)
- Strong understanding of networking security and IAM in AWS
- Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python Bash or PowerShell
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of multicloud environments and hybrid cloud solutions
- Experience with database migration and management on AWS
Preferred Qualifications:
- BS degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience
