Job Description: Credit Analyst / Document Processor

Role: Credit Analyst
Location: CBP Singapore

Position Overview

We are seeking a detailoriented and diligent Credit Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing credit requests preparing credit approvals maintaining accurate records and supporting various creditrelated processes. This role is crucial in ensuring the integrity and efficiency of our credit operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Credit Request Review:
    • Review incoming credit requests for completeness and accuracy.
    • Convert requests into concise accurately recorded credit facilities.
  • Credit Approvals (CAs):
    • Prepare Credit Approvals (CAs) and prescreen mortgage applications.
    • Track the progress of CAs during the approval process.
    • Ensure approvals comply with policy and are accurately recorded in the database.
  • Insurance Records Maintenance:
    • Maintain accurate insurance records and controls.
    • Ensure timely followup and renewals of required insurance for equipment and equipment liability.
  • Data Entry:
    • Perform data entry for Mortgage facilities and General Mortgage Loan (GML) facilities where applicable.
  • Redemption Quotations:
    • Review and prepare redemption quotations for mortgages where applicable.
  • Portfolio and Credit Information Retrieval:
    • Retrieve portfolio and related credit information for internal and external auditors.
    • Contribute to achieving acceptable audit ratings.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience:
    • Preferably 2 years of banking experience.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong data entry skills with attention to detail.
    • Proficiency in using credit management software and databases.
  • Analytical Skills:
    • Ability to review and analyze credit requests and financial information accurately.
  • Organizational Skills:
    • Excellent organizational skills to maintain accurate records and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Communication Skills:
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills for preparing and presenting credit approvals and reports.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Finance Business Administration or a related field.
  • Prior experience in credit analysis or mortgage processing is a plus.
