About the job
We are looking for an estimator for Foundation & Superstructure work based in NYC
Job Duties:
- Review Concrete bid requirements thoroughly to determine the scope of work and required contents of the estimate
- Use takeoff software to establish bid quantities
- Transmits all bid data to subcontractors
- Drafts scope letter inclusions exclusions and clarifications for estimates
- Prepares and submits complete concrete bids and budgets by deadlines
- Maintains relationships with subcontractors and vendors for future bids
- Maintain contact with bidding GCs and architects on clarification of scope on projects in estimating
