Claims Eligibility Specialist

Summary:We are looking for a temporary Claims Eligibility Specialist to join our team under the supervision of the Billing Unit supervisor. The role involves processing feeforservice claims handling billing and eligibility inquiries and performing other billingrelated tasks. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of medical billing and Medicaid excellent customer service skills and strong attention to detail.

• Salary: $26 /Hr

Responsibilities:

• Adjudicate and process feeforservice claims accurately.
• Handle billing and eligibility inquiries from clients and stakeholders.
• Complete and submit CMS 1500 forms for medical billing.
• Collaborate with the billing team to ensure timely and accurate claim processing.
• Provide excellent customer service through clear verbal and written communication.
• Assist in other billing duties as assigned by the Billing Unit supervisor.

Skills/Qualifications:

• Required:
  • Knowledge of medical billing including CMS 1500 completion.
  • Basic understanding of state Medicaid.
  • Typing speed of 4050 words per minute.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service and time management skills.
  • Detailoriented and organized team player.
  • Ability to solve problems effectively.
• Additional:
  • Experience with medical invoicing and billing.
  • Familiarity with content management systems.
  • Skills in adjudicating claims.
