Job Description
Basic/Detailed Engineering review & approval of detailed engineering received from EPC contractor proposal engineering and assistance for installation & commissioning of Electrical activities
Responsibilities
Primary Area of Responsibility 90%
I. Selection of Electrical Equipment as per process requirement P & I D and Tender Documents and Scrutinized the scope of work for Electrical.
II. Preparation of Electrical Documents i.e. Electrical Load List MCC Sizing SLD Cable Sizing Transformer Sizing Capacitor Sizing DG set sizing Substation sizing Cable Schedule etc.
III. Preparation Review & Submission of Drawings i.e. earthing layout MCC room Layout Cable Route Layout Single Line Diagrams and Equipment GA Layout etc. for client/consultant approval.
IV. Preparation of Electrical BOQ& cost estimation Electrical System of entire plant.
V. Preparation of Electrical Equipment Datasheets i.e. Transformer Datasheet HT Panel Datasheet LT Panel Datasheet UPS Datasheet LCS Datasheet Cable Datasheet Cable Tray Datasheet etc.
VI. Preparation of Detailed Vendor Scope & Material Requisition as per Tender Requirement
VII. Technical Evaluation of the bids received from vendors
VIII. Design know how of High voltage switchyard (AIS) up to 66/132/220kV with applicable standards and regulations.
IX. Knowledge of ETAP (Single Line Creation as per ANSI/IEC Short ckt analysis & Load Flow analysis)
X. Support for site activities as and when needed.
Primary Area of Responsibility 10 %
o Coordination with other departments for inputs
o Discussion with Vendors budgetary cost and technical inputs if any
Qualifications
B.E. Electrical E&E
layout,cable,preparation, review & submission of drawings,selection of electrical equipment,coordination with other departments,preparation of electrical boq & cost estimation,electrical equipment,electrical engineering,preparation of electrical equipment datasheets,discussion with vendors,technical evaluation of bids,preparation of detailed vendor scope & material requisition,installation & commissioning,sizing,knowledge of etap,detailed engineering,proposal engineering,design know-how of high voltage switchyard,preparation of electrical documents
