Are you passionate about leading full scope technical projects in collaboration with suppliers and customersAs a Machine Project Leader at Yangi you will be responsible for complete production system deliveries to customers. You will have a pivotal role within Yangi operations and be part of shaping the Yangi project organisation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Project leadership of scope time quality and cost in projects for complete production system deliveries to customers from feasibility to turnover.
- Manage customersupplier relationships and procurement of machinery systems components and services.
- Lead development of technical solutions/processes for the conversion of raw materials into manufacturable packaging products.
MAIN TASKS
- Effective project management (initiation planning budgeting followup communication documentation validation controlling and forecasting of costs customer/supplier/stakeholder management etc.)
- Take overall responsibility for planning and execution of installation commissioning and training at customer sites including the definition of acceptance criteria for complete production systems.
- Establish develop and maintain longterm supplier relationships based on gap analysis and in line with the Yangi Technology Platform Plan.
- Secure manufacturability aspects in projects resulting in a minimized Total Cost of
- Ownership (TCO) and minimized losses (waste stops changeover time) for the customer.
- Define requirements perform supplier evaluations procure machinery systems machined parts and commercial components as well as followup of deliveries.
- Establish standards and develop documentation.
- Actively contribute to the development of the organization.
REQUIREMENTS PROFILE
- Master of Science with at least ten years of project management practice from relevant fields gladly from the Hygiene Pulp & Paper Packaging industry or similar.
- Strong technical background with experience from manufacturing technology and/or R&D.
- Fluency in English speech and writing.
- Experience from supplier relations.
- Position requires the ability to travel 3050 days/year.
- Structured and datadriven decision maker with experience of quality assurance methods e.g. Six Sigma loss analysis and problemsolving methods is beneficial.
- Experience from IPRwork is a bonus.
