BAS Controls Technician $32/hr – $48/hr

Technician Levels 1 2 and 3

A BAS Programmer/Technician will work as part of a team responsible for the installation programming startup troubleshooting commissioning and servicing of DDC building automation systems. This position requires clear communication skills with customers contractors engineers and fellow team members.

Job Duties:

• Checkout startup and commissioning on projects.
• Analyze problems and resolve issues to ensure the complete system functions properly.
• Familiarity with various hand and power tools.
• Perform service repairs adjustments and calibration on building systems.
• Coordinate customer training and assist in completing closeout documents.
• Create and troubleshoot software programs and animated frontend graphics.
• Provide technical support and direction to endusers and employees when applicable.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Job Requirements:

• 35 years of experience with DDC Building Automation Systems LON BACnet Niagara AX or N4.
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends.
• Proficiency in reading wiring diagrams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with IP networks.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving history.
• Occasional travel may be required.

Desired Experience:

• 25 years with Tridium Niagara Lonworks Distech Controls Siemens or other BACnet Control Systems.

Education:

• High School Diploma and/or Trade School.

Beneficial Certificates:

• Niagara AX or N4 Distech ECgfx Siemens Desigo.
