Happiness officer 25Hweek on-site- Palma coliving Barcelona

At Palma coliving we host and connect the remote workers community in our premium coliving properties located in paradiselike locations where they could live work and have fun together.

We are now looking for THE Happiness officer for our new property in Valencia which will host around 10 people per month. Palma Coliving has been quoted for two consecutive years as one of the best Nomad coliving and one of the best hybrid hospitality brands in Spain.

Tasks

From January 2024 we are looking for one Happiness officer who will take care of the entire coliving experience: welcoming every guest organizing our weekly events & coordinating our partners to cocreate a memorable community experience.

Youll be in charge of making sure that our guests are receiving a warm welcome creating and bonding between them and the other guests from day one until the end of their stay and that their needs are being taken care of.

Being a happiness officer means taking care of the community. Your main goal would be to engage the Palma coliving community so that they always feel like part of a family.

Role & Responsibilities

Onboarding: Facilitate checkin for every guest & perform an inspection before and after their stay; Make sure the guests are welcome well to ensure they are assimilating smoothly.

Moderate the Palma Coliving chat groups made for the coliving & digital nomads. Coordinate the Whatsapp groups related to the cleaning maintenance & other partners to ensure the best experience at the Palma coliving property.

Be the eye of the property: every day ensure that the coliving shared areas are tidy and make sure to solve quickly the maintenance issues. Before leaving the facilities check that all lights & A/C are off & that doors are locked.

Facilitate and create content with the supervision of the Palma coliving marketing team. For example: create photos and videos during the activities. You will have 1 or 2 monthly meetings with the marketing team to work together towards good communication of the project making sure we have the approval of each guest to use their images tag them for social media etc.

Reorder essential pantry and household items if missing

Give feedback to the rest of the team about the guests experience: every week youll be in touch with our Chief Happiness Officer to share your thoughts on what things are working and what others could be improved.

Lead & support weekly activities such as the community session the networking event the family lunch and dinner the tapas night session 3 fitness/meditation sessions:

• Running the Community Session every Monday. This is a casual and quick meeting that we do every week in order to present new guests and organize the activities of the week.
• Organizing a weekly Digital Nomad Meetup in a city bar. This is our weekly event that we are organizing to invite every likeminded person outside of our coliving. This includes: publishing the event on our digital nomads group booking the place and being there at the beginning to welcome everyone
• Cooking Tapas Night dinner 2 times a month. This includes: doing the groceries cooking classical Spanish tapas and setting up the table for the guests to invite them to this special event
• Giving 3 times a yoga/fitness or meditation session to the guests: this activity is usually the first time in the morning or at noon after the guest finishes working.
• Facilitating the extra activities that the guests would like to organize: every week our guests are looking to do new activities such as paddle tennis boat trips etc. In that way youre not organizing it but advising them where to find the best places thanks to our partnership

Requirements

As a Happiness Officer you will be the first point of contact for our guests so for us it is extremely important that you are a polite welcoming and easygoing person who can have a good impact on the wellbeing of every guest.

• Fluency/Native in English: our guests are coming from all over the world to stay at Palma coliving :D!
• At least two previous experiences in hospitality public relations event management or anything related to human interactions: its a 95% communityoriented job.
• Excellent communications & presentation skills: youre the first point of contact!
• Solid organizational skills including prioritization & time management
• Problemsolving skills and the ability to deal with ambiguity: were just humans after all.
• Creating content skills: youll have to create content for Palma coliving for the daytoday inside the coliving. So if you feel comfortable using your mobile phone & you are proactive in generating highquality group and community memories you are a good candidate!
• Being flexible & living in Valencia city or nearby: our coliving is located near Malvarrosa beach in El Campo as youll be the only contact for the coliving guests well need you to be reactive in case an issue needs to be fixed ASAP at the coliving.
• (Being a Happy person: youre the Happiness officer after all)

> PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• You also have a remote job that allows you to understand better what is the remote work life about. Its also a plus as you could use our coworking facilities to work on your own project if you want :)
• Yoga/fitness/meditation skills: you will host either yoga/fitness or meditation sessions three times a week according to your skills for our conscious community.
• Advanced or native Spanish is a plus: you may have to coordinate with Spanish partners who dont speak English.

• Brut Salary: 937/month.
