Our client a top manufacturing company located in Western New York is seeking an Assistant Controller to join their team and aid in their continued success.
The Assistant Controller will be crucial in supporting the company's financial operations. Reporting to the Controller this role involves various accounting duties with a strong focus on costing. This position offers great career advancement opportunities for a candidate who exhibits strong leadership analytical abilities and a dedication to excellence.
Qualifications:
- An Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
- At least 6 years of progressive accounting experience with an emphasis on costing preferably in a manufacturing setting.
- A solid understanding of cost accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Effective communication skills with crossfunctional teams.
