About the role
We are looking for a fulltime Accountant/Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team and play a key role in our growth and expansion initiatives.
- Role: Accountant/Senior Accountant
- Reporting line: Head of Accounting Audit and Tax
- Worksite: Remote
Responsibilities:
- Keep accounting records in Microsoft Dynamics
- Make reconciliation of data between various IT systems
- Maintain summary tables and various supporting calculations
- Process monthly payrolls
- Provide support with employment taxes and payroll issues
- Calculate and produce VAT returns Corporate Tax returns and other tax returns
- Contribute to tax planning projects
- Close the accounts prepare financial statements as needed
- Collect supporting documents and archiving them properly
- Support the annual audit process
- Participate in automation and other projects as may be required
- Communicate with auditors tax advisors other service providers
Qualifications:
- Master degree in accounting/finance/economic is a must
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accountant positions
- Working experience in financial services industry (bank brokerage) is an advantage
- Good knowledge of IFRS ACCA (or equivalent) is an advantage
- Experienced and knowledgeable of accounting principles financial reporting financial management and taxation in EU
- Experience in dealing with external auditors
- Fluent English
- Good IT skills (Google products Excel)
