HVACR Service Technician

Position Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair refrigeration systems evaporative condensers ice machines water pumps compressors air handlers electric motors and HVAC units ensuring all equipment is restored to optimal operating levels with a goal of zero callbacks.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on the same equipment to ensure peak efficiency and minimize customer downtime.
• Complete all required paperwork promptly and accurately.
• Travel throughout Eastern MA as needed.
• Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by management.

Should be familiar with VRF systems and grocery store refrigeration (these are the 2 big/important ones)

Refrigeration technicians can also be qualified as long as they have the EPA Cert

Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience required
Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot
Strong customer service skills and the ability to build relationships with customers
Demonstrated ability to achieve quality results
Strong work ethic selfmotivated and a professional attitude
Good driving record and valid State Driver License
Ability to be on call on a rotating schedule: nights/weekends/holidays
Understands the need for integrity and demonstrates awareness of ethical implications in all situations

License/Certification:
EPA Type II (Required)
HVAC/R License/Certification in the State of MA
Clean Drivers License (No records MUST)

Hiring Radius within 100 miles from job location Weymouth MA
EPA Universal Certificate is a MUST
HVAC/R Cert preferred but must have good experience
OSHA 30 preferred
Clean Drivers License no records
Open for relo package as long as licensed in MA
Will take skill test: multiple choice exam interview
