Job Description
We currently have an opening for the role of Senior Data Engineer in Canada. Kindly review the detailed job description provided below. This position offers fulltime employment with the flexibility of remote work but candidates must reside within Canadian borders.
Required Skills:
- Minimum of 6 years of experience as a backend software engineer
- Excellent experience of development using Python
- Experience in building data ETL pipelines using technologies like Airflow PySpark MySQL Hive Snowflake.
- Experience in writing well tested applications including unit tests functional tests and integration tests.
- Experience is Data catalog tools like Atlan is a plus.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum setting including partnering with business analysts other developers and testers and implementing solutions related to creative process.
- Experience with thirdparty APIs and Web Services API Gateways like Apigee.
- Working knowledge of the general web application landscape architectures trends and emerging technologies.
