Job Description

We are looking for Senior Technical Writer with 57 Years of Experience for our esteemed client for Bangalore.

Key Skills: Airbus documentation AMM CMM ESM SB IPC Airbus ASD STE10ATA100 Ispec 2200 & S1000D0

As a Senior Technical Writer you will be part of a team of writers ensuring the production of highquality technical manuals and documentation that meet industry standards. Your expertise in Arbor text Editor and Simplified Technical English (ASD STE100) along with your knowledge of aircraft systems and maintenance practices will be crucial in this role.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Mentor and support a team of technical writers providing guidance and ensuring adherence to professional and ethical standards.

Communicate effectively with customers to understand their requirements and address issues in a timely and professional manner.

Interpret and analyze customer requirements guides and standards to ensure documentation accuracy and compliance.

Plan and prioritize team activities to meet customer delivery commitments.

Use Arbortext Editor to create and revise technical documents following Simplified Technical English (ASD STE100).

Analyze and interpret engineering drawings Service Bulletins (SB) CAD files assembly instructions and Bills of Materials (BOM) to ensure accurate documentation.

Proactively identify potential queries and engage with customers to clarify and resolve issues.

Create and revise impacted tasks/data modules ensuring technical manuals are accurate and compliant.

Identify and request necessary illustrations/graphic modifications coordinating with the illustration team as needed.

Review and validate documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards (ATA100 iSpec 2200 and S1000D).

Apply sound knowledge of basic aircraft systems and general aircraft maintenance practices.

Utilize knowledge of Aircraft Maintenance Manuals (AMM) Component Maintenance Manuals (CMM) Engineering Standards Manuals (ESM) Service Bulletins (SB) and Illustrated Parts Catalogs (IPC) in documentation processes.

Requirements

5 years of experience in technical writing with a focus on the aerospace industry.

Good knowledge on AMM CMM ESM SB and IPC.

Proven leadership and mentoring skills with the ability to lead a team professionally and ethically.

Strong customer communication skills with experience in handling issues effectively and promptly.

Proficiency in using Arbortext Editor and familiarity with Simplified Technical English (ASD STE100).

Ability to analyze and interpret engineering documents and data.

Experience in creating and revising technical manuals ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Knowledge of industry standards (ATA100 iSpec 2200 S1000D) and basic aircraft systems and maintenance practices.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan prioritize and manage multiple tasks.

Excellent attention to detail and problemsolving abilities.

Sound knowledge on basic aircraft systems and general aircraft maintenance practices.
