Job Description
Our client a fresh produce distributor is seeking a highly motivated and versatile Power BI Analyst with an expertise in DAX skillsets to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of business acumen and technical expertise to drive datadriven decisionmaking across the organization. In this role you will work with stakeholders and the global data analyst to understand their needs and will be responsible for analyzing business processes gathering requirements and leveraging data analytics techniques to deliver actionable insights that support strategic initiatives.
This is a remote position. The selected candidate will be working EST hours.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives processes and requirements
- Conduct indepth analysis of business processes workflows and systems to identify areas for improvement
- Translate business needs into actionable requirements and specifications for datadriven solutions
- Collect clean and analyze large datasets to uncover trends patterns and insights
- Design and create interactive dashboards reports and visualizations using Power BI to communicate key findings and performance metrics
- Ensure that visualizations are intuitive userfriendly and aligned with business requirements
- Utilize data visualization tools such as Power BI Tableau or Excel to create compelling and informative visuals
- Perform ad hoc analysis to support business decisionmaking
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to share insights gather feedback and drive consensus on actionable recommendations
- Identify opportunities for process improvement automation and optimization to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- Ensure data integrity accuracy and consistency across systems and reports
- Establish and enforce data governance policies and best practices
- Actively participate in knowledge sharing training and mentoring to foster a culture of learning and innovation
Requirements
- Bachelors degree or certification in Business Analytics Data Science or a related field Master s degree preferred
- Proven experience (7 years) in business analysis data analysis and data visualization
- Expertise with data visualization tools especially Power BI and DAX
- Strong proficiency in SQL Python DAX or R for data manipulation and analysis
- Experience with the development of data pipelines in Azure Data Factory is a plus
- Excellent analytical problemsolving and critical thinking skills
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management practices
- Knowledge of data governance data quality and data management best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
