Job Description

Were looking for a skilled and compassionate Bilingual SpeechLanguage Pathologist to work within school districts across Illinois. This role is a fantastic opportunity to impact students lives by addressing communication challenges and promoting language development in both English and Spanish. As a Bilingual SLP you will be essential in enhancing the academic success and socialemotional wellbeing of bilingual and multilingual students.

Key Tasks:
  • Assess students speech language and communication abilities in both English and Spanish.
  • Craft individualized treatment plans to address various speech and language disorders including issues with articulation fluency voice and comprehension.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students either individually or in small groups focusing on specific communication goals.
  • Collaborate with teachers parents and other educational professionals to integrate speech and language objectives into the students academic curriculum and daily routines.
  • Maintain precise records of assessment outcomes therapy sessions progress reports and other necessary documentation ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings collaborating with the IEP team to establish suitable goals and interventions for students.


Requirements

  • SpeechLanguage Pathology Masters degree from an accredited program.
  • Legal Illinois state license or eligibility for license in SpeechLanguage Pathology.
  • Previous experience working with culturally and linguistically diverse populations preferably in a school setting.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish with strong oral and written communication skills in both languages.
