Were looking for a skilled and compassionate Bilingual SpeechLanguage Pathologist to work within school districts across Illinois. As a Bilingual SLP you will be essential in enhancing the academic success and socialemotional wellbeing of bilingual and multilingual students.
Key Tasks:
- Assess students speech language and communication abilities in both English and Spanish.
- Craft individualized treatment plans to address various speech and language disorders including issues with articulation fluency voice and comprehension.
- Provide direct therapy services to students either individually or in small groups focusing on specific communication goals.
- Collaborate with teachers parents and other educational professionals to integrate speech and language objectives into the students academic curriculum and daily routines.
- Maintain precise records of assessment outcomes therapy sessions progress reports and other necessary documentation ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings collaborating with the IEP team to establish suitable goals and interventions for students.
Requirements
- SpeechLanguage Pathology Masters degree from an accredited program.
- Legal Illinois state license or eligibility for license in SpeechLanguage Pathology.
- Previous experience working with culturally and linguistically diverse populations preferably in a school setting.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish with strong oral and written communication skills in both languages.
