Key responsibilities include:
- Offering comprehensive school social work services to students facing academic risks or struggling with social emotional or behavioral issues.
- Providing essential direct and indirect support as a related service in the realm of special education.
- Acting as a liaison between students homes the school and community providers ensuring seamless access to necessary services and facilitating effective collaboration.
- Delivering timely crisis intervention services to address emergent situations and provide immediate support.
- Undertaking other comparable duties that contribute to the overall success of our school community.
Requirements
- A Masters degree in social work.
- A LSW or LCSW REQUIRED.
- Must hold a PEL Certification with a Social Worker or School Support personnel endorsement.
