Job Description
A Fantastic Critical Access Hospital near Des Moines Iowa is looking for a qualified and fitting Chief Financial Officer! Seeking Fulltime permanent position. Details are below:
Chief Financial Officer Opportunity:
Wonderful PTO IPERS Retirement Plan and Pay!
Schedule: M F 85
Directs the accounting in the accurate and timely maintenance of the general ledger and all related activities including accounts payable and payroll; and monitors accounting to ensure to ascertain that accounting methods and procedures are carried out in accordance with generally accepted financial principles for healthcare facilities.
Provides valued input and guidance as a member of the Administrative Team (Officers) Operations Team (Directors) Leadership Team (Managers/Supervisor) and other committees and workgroups. Executing action steps to constantly improve operations and the care given.
Provides management and direction over the fiscal and support areas with proper goal setting coaching professional development and evaluation of the accounting services revenue cycle information systems and material management leaders.
Oversight responsibility for the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements. Analyzes and interprets monthly financial reports to the CEO UnityPoint HealthDes Moines CFO and Hospital Board of Trustees. Chairs the Finance Committee.
Chief Financial Officer Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree or masters in finance accounting or related disciplines required.
- Minimum of five years experience in a financial management position. Knowledge of strategic development planning financing and delivery of health care services as normally acquired through a master s degree in hospital administration business administration or related degree.
- Preferred CPA currently licensed in Iowa.
