GIS Technician

Company Overview: Our client is a digital engineering company providing solutions to many businesses around the world. Our client is seeking a GIS Technician to manage geographic software systems and data and provide support to data users.

Position Summary: The successful candidate should hold a relevant bachelor s degree and equipped with some relevant experience utilizing GIS technology.

Responsibilities:

Manage geographic software systems and data management processes.

Provide expertise in the functions of geographic software systems.

Offer support to data users utilizing GIS tools and data.

Handle administrative daytoday responsibilities related to GIS operations.

Necessary Attributes:

Proficiency in geographic information systems (GIS) software.

Strong data management skills.

Excellent problemsolving abilities.

Effective communication skills.

Detailoriented with strong organizational skills.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in GIS operations or related roles preferred.
  
• Previous experience in various sectors utilizing GIS technology preferred.
  
• Bachelor s degree in Geography Geographic Information Systems Environmental Science or related field preferred.
  
• Relevant GIS certifications preferred.
