Job Description

Were looking for a motivated leader and team player to join us on a fulltime basis. We offer attractive salary packages benefits and career growth potential. The current position offered will be Country General Manager (Malaysia) or such other post as determined by the Employer its holding company or its associate or subsidiary companies (together called the Group ).

Responsibilities include:
  • Leading our Malaysia team and overseeing daytoday operations
  • Making decisions based on data and analysis and within assigned parameters from HQ
  • Institutionalizing reporting structures and ensuring approval channels are followed
  • Devising strategies to achieve growth targets and ensuring KPIs are met across all departments
  • Enforcing company policies procedures standards guidelines training programs and cultural values within the team
  • Maintaining budgets and optimizing expenses
  • Overseeing recruitment onboarding offboarding and training of employees
  • Overseeing the annual appraisal process with fulltime employees
  • Preparing regular reports on staff performance and budget tracking for HQ
  • Nurturing relationships with local vendors and partners
  • Ensuring a collaborative working relationship with HQ and providing recommendations and solutions to enhance and expand our operations in Malaysia

Requirements

  • Bachelor s degree (or equivalent) in business management or related field
  • Min. 5 years experience in retail/fashion brand as a General Manager or similar leadership role
  • Proven track record in managing a local team across multiple business functions to achieve organizational objectives
  • Strong analytical and decisionmaking ability
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
  • Ability to motivate and lead employees
  • Strong working knowledge of operational procedures and human resource processes
