Position: Therapist BHUCC
Department: Behavioral Health
Reports To: Director Urgent Care Center & CHRC Project Leader
Key Responsibilities:
Provide psychotherapy and care coordination services including assessments treatment planning discharge planning and case management.
Deliver individual family and group therapy.
Conduct crisis intervention and deescalation.
Work with diverse populations to provide collaborative care.
Collect and analyze data and alert the treatment team to potential risk issues.
Complete utilization reviews and all required documentation.
Skills and Competencies:
Ability to provide compassionate care during psychiatric assessments treatment planning care coordination and discharge planning.
Competence in providing individual family and group therapy.
Capability to independently assess and treat guests in crisis with a personcentered approach.
Skill in care coordination entitlement and resource linkage.
Effective communication and collaboration with internal and external customers.
Adaptability in responding to changing or crisis environments.
Independent decisionmaking in line with current policies procedures and ethical standards.
Proficiency in computer and software systems.
Flexibility to treat guests/families with various behavioral health conditions and needs.

Qualifications:
Master s Degree in Social Work or Counseling from an accredited program.
Maryland licensure LMSW or LGPC required. Licensed LCSWC or LCPC preferred.
BLS certification required within 60 days of start date.
Minimum of two years experience in a behavioral health treatment setting.
Experience in care coordination preferred.
