As a Senior Service Engineer (NaaS) you will:
- Develop networking solutions for IaaS/SaaS/PaaS applications in private public or hybrid cloud environments.
- Research analyze propose and implement innovative solutions to technical and business challenges.
- Support Programme Project and Service Delivery Managers in implementing new capabilities and improving existing ones.
- Coordinate and lead the implementation of NaaS elements using NATO and industry standards.
- Conduct site surveys technical inspections and system acceptance testing.
- Liaise and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for fault rectification activities.
- Produce and maintain documentation related to network configuration processes and service records.
- Provide consultative support to customers and design solutions based on NCI Agency approved services.
- Configure implement and evaluate test scenarios and management tools within the NGCS Reference Facility.
- Maintain an uptodate picture of ongoing network infrastructure activities.
- Investigate and propose longterm solutions to recurring problems and identify areas for greater efficiency.
- Lead and manage permanent and temporary project teams.
- Deputize for highergrade staff when required.
- Perform other duties as required.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Bachelors degree in a related discipline and 3 years of related experience or equivalent experience.
- Services and Technology Professional Certification (e.g. ITIL CCIE SRA JNCIE Devnet Professional) or equivalent experience.
- Experience in planning designing and implementing communication aspects of C4ISR.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
- Technical project management/lead experience with supported documentation.
- Experience working in an SLA/SOP driven IT organization.
- Intermediate knowledge in authentication technologies.
- Proven experience in design and implementation in largescale networks.
- Working knowledge of Python3 Git Ansible Terraform and scripting.
- Minimum 3 years of experience leading an engineering team.
You should possess the ability to:
- Develop networking solutions for various cloud environments.
