Job Description

About the Client:

Active Utilities is a leader in providing private Electrical Embedded Networks and other private Utility services including water and gas around Australia.



Job Summary:

The Risk & Compliance Coordinator is a key role responsible for creating managing and maintaining various business documents to support the risk and compliance requirements of the business. It is also required to ensure external contractors and other external stakeholders compliance documentation is submitted and compliant.

This position requires a strong need to extract independently retain and document collected information and format it into clear and concise content.




Responsibilities:

  • Document creation: Create basic Word Excel or PowerPoint documents based on verbal instructions and/or provided materials.
  • Document review: Review documents for clarity coherence and completeness identifying any disconnects or areas lacking clarity.
  • Research: Research specified topics using websites and online resources or from internal personnel to gather relevant information.
  • Meeting/document review support: Document key points and action items from meetings and document reviews ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Document coordination: Follow up documents from internal and/or external parties to ensure timely submissions.
  • Data entry: Upload information into spreadsheets and other databases.
  • Document registrations: Manage and maintain registrations of the business documents and templates ensuring all records are current and properly filed.
  • Contractor registrations: Overseeing the business registration process for the contractors to ensure all required documents are submitted and verified.
  • Contractor insurance followups: Track and follow up on contractor insurance documentation to ensure compliance and coverage continuity.
  • Portal document management: Upload and manage documents in various online portals maintaining organization and accessibility.
  • Accounting information extraction: Extract and compile information from NetSuite (accounting system) for reporting and analysis purposes.


Requirements


  • Willing to report inoffice.
  • 34 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint etc.).
  • Ability to learn new systems and applications quickly.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to conduct thorough research and compile information.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proactive and resourceful problemsolver.
  • Strong multitasking abilities with a focus on prioritization.
  • High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
  • Motivated to learn and quick to understand new processes/policies; and
  • Ability to adjust quickly to change.
  • Experience in Electricity Water Telecommunications or Gas in a similar role will be highly advantageous.
  • Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems is advantageous.
