Sr AWS Kafka Developer Cloud Engineer

Job Description:

Our Client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. AWS & Kafka Developer Cloud Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of AWS services and Kafka with extensive experience in designing deploying and managing cloudbased solutions. This role requires a proactive individual who can drive innovation and efficiency in our cloud infrastructure while ensuring security scalability and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design implement and maintain scalable and secure cloud infrastructure using AWS services.
• Develop and deploy infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Optimize cloud resources for costefficiency and performance.
• Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure ensuring high availability and disaster recovery.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate cloud solutions into applications and workflows.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices.
• Conduct regular performance tuning monitoring and capacity planning.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Design implement and manage Kafka clusters for data streaming and realtime processing.
• Ensure the reliability and performance of Kafka infrastructure.
• Integrate Kafka with AWS services and other applications.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in AWS cloud engineering.
• Strong proficiency in AWS services such as EC2 S3 RDS Lambda VPC IAM CloudWatch and more.
• Extensive experience with Kafka including setup configuration and management of Kafka clusters.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform CloudFormation or similar.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts and security best practices in the cloud.
• Proficient in scripting languages such as Python Bash or PowerShell.
• Handson experience with CI/CD tools and practices.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Excellent problemsolving skills and ability to work in a fastpaced environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Professional) or equivalent certification.
• Experience with multicloud environments.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
• Previous experience in the energy sector is a plus.
