Job Title: Occupational Therapist
Location: Olympia WA
Duration: 13 weeks contract
Shift: 8hr/Days
Job Summary: Assess plan and implement rehabilitative programs that help patients regain or improve their ability to perform daily activities and work tasks. Collaborate with healthcare teams to customize treatment plans based on patients physical mental and emotional needs.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Help patients improve basic motor functions and cognitive skills.
- Assist in adapting environments and tasks to support patients independence.
- Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and equipment use.
- Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Work closely with healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Adhere to ethical and professional standards and maintain patient confidentiality.
Requirements:
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy (OT).
- State licensure or certification as an Occupational Therapist.
- Knowledge of therapeutic techniques and equipment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a healthcare setting particularly in rehabilitation.
- Specialization or certification in a specific area of occupational therapy.
