Location: Slough Berkshire

Salary:Competitive dependent on experience

Contract Type: Permanent Fulltime

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher/SENCO to join our dynamic team. As an outstanding school we are committed to maintaining high standards of inclusive education and ensuring that every student achieves their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the provision for students with SEN ensuring their needs are met effectively.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers parents and external agencies to implement individual education plans (IEPs) and support strategies.
  • Monitor the progress of SEN students and provide regular feedback to relevant stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the schools SEN policy development and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Support and mentor teaching staff on best practices for inclusive education.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant SEN qualifications
  • Proven experience in teaching and supporting students with SEN in a school setting.
  • Strong knowledge of SEN frameworks policies and best practices.
  • Excellent communication interpersonal and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required.
