The Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and inspiring English Teacher to deliver highquality lessons to our students. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching English across Key Stages 3 and 4 with opportunities to contribute to our Alevel program. You will join a collaborative and supportive department that is dedicated to achieving the best outcomes for our students.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons that inspire students to achieve their full potential.
• Assess and monitor student progress providing constructive feedback and support.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of the English curriculum.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Participate in departmental meetings and professional development opportunities.
• Engage with parents and carers to support student progress and wellbeing.

Qualifications and Experience

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• A degree in English or a related subject.
• Proven experience teaching English at secondary level.
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for literature and language.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to continuous professional development.
