Position Overview

• Duration: Fulltime Permanent
• Location: Tower Hamlets London
• Remuneration: Competitive salary aligned with Main/Upper Pay Scale (MPS/UPS) reflecting experience and qualifications

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging innovative science lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4
• Create a stimulating learning environment that fosters scientific curiosity and inquiry
• Assess student progress effectively providing constructive feedback to promote growth
• Actively contribute to departmental initiatives and collaborate with colleagues
• Remain abreast of current pedagogical approaches and curriculum developments

Candidate Profile

• Bachelors Degree (or higher) in Science or a related discipline
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification
• Demonstrated experience teaching science at the secondary level (KS3/4)
• Passion for science education and a commitment to student success
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
