Summary:
The position supports required analytics report design data integration and transformation processes crucial to the function of the Gainwell Technologies Data Analytics services for Ohio Medicaid.
Work with the client to develop critical reports research analysis and designs data specifications. Builds mapping documents takes actions on feedback from Gainwell stakeholders team leaders clients and vendors.
Determines best practices and provides suggestions on how to improve current operational process and practices.
Your role in our mission:
Work closely with analysts and engineers to deploy solutions in batch and realtime while systematically tracking model performance.
Build complex data sets and flows from multiple data sources using SQL Python Spark and SSRS.
Present findings to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
Assist engagements with key business stakeholders in a discussion on business opportunities.
Be an evangelist driving wider adoption of analytics across the enterprise.
Deliver data science projects delivering innovative technical solutions improving healthcare outcomes.
Support the design development testing of Machine Learning (ML) /Statistical models to not only learn from our vast amounts of data but to build new product features.
What we are looking for Top 5
Knowledge of medical institutional and pharmacy/drug claim data and elements (HEDIS ECQM and / or First Data BankFDB).
Ability to lead meetings with OH Medicaid and Gainwell stakeholders including Product Engineering and Data teams.
5 years of experience in supporting complex data science projects from requirements through design development testing and production.
Experience using data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau Databricks) to share ongoing insights.
Firsthand healthcare industry experience with data & languages such as e.g. SQL Python R SAS using Databricks solutions within the cloud (AWS or Azure).
Additional Skills/Experience
Computer Science Degree: Statistics Informatics or another quantitative field.
Advance degree in Data Science is preferred.
Experience leading meetings which include stakeholder including Clients Product Data and Design and discuss data analytics.
Experience using Databricks solutions within the cloud (AWS or Azure).
2 years of industry experience in Data Science/Machine Learning as a data scientist/technical lead developing ML models with a business impact.
Experience with enhanced reporting and analysis solutions that leverage complex data sources derived from multiple internal systems.
Experience working with AWS cloud services: EC2 S3 RDS Redshift and Glacier/Archival
