Job Description

Overview:

The HR Recruiter Intern plays a crucial role in assisting the HR department with recruitment activities ensuring the timely and effective sourcing screening and onboarding of top talent for the organization. The intern will gain handson experience in various aspects of the recruitment process contributing to the overall success of the HR team and the organizations workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in sourcing candidates through various channels such as job boards social media and networking
  • Screen resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates
  • Coordinate with hiring managers to understand their recruitment needs
  • Schedule and conduct initial phone screenings with potential candidates
  • Assist in coordinating and scheduling interviews
  • Participate in inperson interviews and assessment centers
  • Conduct reference checks on potential candidates
  • Assist in the development and implementation of recruitment strategies
  • Ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures throughout the recruitment process
  • Support the HR team in various administrative tasks related to recruitment
  • Participate in employer branding initiatives to attract top talent
  • Collaborate with team members to continuously improve recruitment processes
  • Maintain candidate databases and provide regular reports on recruitment activities
  • Participate in internship recruitment activities and programs
  • Assist with onboarding processes for new hires

Required Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field
  • Demonstrated interest in HR and recruitment through coursework or extracurricular activities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fastpaced environment
  • Basic understanding of HR policies and procedures
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HR software
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Willingness to learn and take initiative
  • Previous internship or work experience in HR or recruitment is a plus
  • Knowledge of sourcing techniques and familiarity with social media recruitment platforms
  • Understanding of employment laws and regulations
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and meet deadlines
  • Strong work ethic and a commitment to professionalism
