Job Description

Overview:

The Accounts Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the financial health of the organization. They are responsible for managing all aspects of the accounting department providing strategic financial guidance and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing accounting policies and procedures
  • Overseeing the daytoday operations of the accounting department
  • Preparing and presenting financial reports and statements
  • Managing financial audits and ensuring compliance
  • Supervising and mentoring accounting staff
  • Monitoring cash flow and cash management
  • Conducting financial analysis and forecasting
  • Preparing and managing budgets
  • Implementing and maintaining accounting software
  • Collaborating with other departments to support financial goals
  • Ensuring timely and accurate financial closings
  • Managing tax compliance and reporting
  • Contributing to strategic financial decisions
  • Implementing internal controls and risk management
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with financial institutions

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) designation
  • Proven experience in accounting or finance management
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance
  • Proficiency in accounting software and financial reporting tools
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Ability to lead and manage a team effectively
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detailoriented and organized approach to work
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment
  • Strategic thinking and business acumen
  • Experience in budgeting and financial planning
  • Knowledge of tax laws and regulations
  • Ability to adapt to technological advancements in accounting
