Job Description
Job Title: MEP Cost and Estimation Executive
Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed cost estimates for mechanical electrical and plumbing (MEP) projects based on design specifications and project requirements.
Analyze project documents including blueprints and specifications to accurately determine material labor and equipment costs.
Collaborate with project managers engineers and procurement teams to ensure accurate and competitive pricing.
Monitor project budgets and expenditures providing regular updates and reports to senior management.
Assist in developing and maintaining a database of cost information including historical data and market trends.
Evaluate and compare supplier and subcontractor quotations to ensure costeffectiveness and compliance with project requirements.
Prepare and present cost estimation reports and financial analysis to stakeholders.
Stay updated on industry standards material costs and best practices in cost estimation.
Requirements:
Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering Quantity Surveying or a related field.
Proven experience in cost estimation within the MEP industry.
Strong analytical and numerical skills.
Proficiency in estimation software and tools (e.g. AutoCAD Revit MS Excel).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
