Job Description
Job Title: MEP (Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing) Head
Job Type: Fulltime
Responsibilities:
Oversee the planning design and execution of MEP systems for diverse projects including interior design IT infrastructure and coworking spaces.
Develop and implement MEP design strategies to meet project requirements budgets and timelines.
Lead and manage a team of MEP engineers and technicians ensuring high standards of performance and technical excellence.
Collaborate with architects interior designers project managers and other stakeholders to integrate MEP systems seamlessly into overall project designs.
Review and approve MEP drawings specifications and cost estimates to ensure accuracy and feasibility.
Coordinate with contractors suppliers and vendors to source materials and services ensuring quality and costefficiency.
Conduct regular site visits to monitor the installation and commissioning of MEP systems ensuring compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve any MEPrelated issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
Stay updated on industry trends technological advancements and regulatory changes to ensure MEP systems are cuttingedge and compliant.
Prepare and present detailed MEP reports including progress updates cost analysis and risk assessments to senior management and clients.
Requirements:
Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering Plumbing Engineering or a related field.
Proven experience in managing MEP systems for interior design construction IT or coworking space projects.
Strong knowledge of MEP design principles building codes and industry standards.
Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
Proficiency in MEP design software and tools (e.g. AutoCAD Revit MEP Navisworks).
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Detailoriented with strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
Certification in MEP Engineering or Project Management (PMP) is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with sustainable and energyefficient MEP systems.
Familiarity with smart building technologies and automation systems.
Strong negotiation skills for managing contracts and procurement processes.
