Required Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of a residency program in general surgery.
• Fellowship training in gastroenterological surgery.
• Board certification in general surgery and gastroenterology.
• Licensure to practice as a surgeon in the relevant location.
• Proven experience in performing complex gastrointestinal surgical procedures.
• Familiarity with advanced surgical techniques and technologies in gastroenterology.
• Demonstrated capability in managing preoperative and postoperative care for surgical gastroenterology patients.
• Strong understanding of medical research methodologies and evidencebased practice in surgical gastroenterology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction and collaboration with healthcare teams.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient safety and quality care.
• Ability to work effectively in highpressure environments and handle emergency surgical cases.
