Md DNB dmrd Radiologist consultant

Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret medical images including Xrays CT scans MRI scans and ultrasounds to diagnose and treat patients
• Perform and interpret diagnostic procedures such as fluoroscopy angiography and mammography
• Provide accurate and timely radiological reports to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment
• Consult with referring physicians to determine the most appropriate imaging techniques for specific cases
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss treatment plans and patient management
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in diagnostic imaging techniques and technologies
• Adhere to all regulatory and safety standards in medical imaging procedures
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care and treatment outcomes
• Supervise and train other medical professionals such as radiologic technologists and residents
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and research projects related to diagnostic radiology

Required Qualifications:

• Medical Doctor (MD) with board certification in Radiology (DNB DMRD) and DM (Medical Radiodiagnosis)
• Valid state medical license and registration
• Strong understanding of medical ethics patient confidentiality and regulatory compliance
• Indepth knowledge of advanced imaging modalities including CT MRI Xray and ultrasound
• Extensive experience in interpreting and reporting on medical imaging studies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals
• Ability to work in a fastpaced and dynamic healthcare environment
• Proficiency in using radiology information systems and picture archiving and communication systems (RIS/PACS)
• Commitment to continuous professional development and staying abreast of latest trends in radiology and diagnostic imaging
• Strong problemsolving and critical thinking abilities to make accurate diagnoses and treatment recommendations
• Experience in teaching and mentoring medical students residents and technologists is advantageous
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Capability to handle high levels of stress and multitask effectively while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Dedication to providing highquality patient care and ensuring optimal diagnostic outcomes
• Flexibility to work irregular hours and participate in oncall schedules as needed
