Key responsibilities

• Translate written materials from English to French and vice versa
• Interpret spoken communication from English to French and vice versa
• Proofread and edit translated materials to ensure accuracy and quality
• Conduct research to ensure proper use of terminology and language in various contexts
• Provide linguistic and cultural consultation to internal teams
• Support localization and adaptation of content for Frenchspeaking markets
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure consistent communication in French
• Stay updated with language trends and industry best practices
• Assist in creating language style guides and glossaries
• Participate in languagerelated training and professional development
• Handle adhoc linguistic tasks as needed
• Communicate effectively with Frenchspeaking stakeholders and clients
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
• Ensure confidentiality and security of linguistic materials
• Utilize translation and interpretation tools effectively

Required qualifications

• Fluency in both written and spoken French and English
• Bachelors degree in French Linguistics Translation or related field
• Proven experience in translation interpretation and proofreading
• Strong understanding of French grammar syntax and punctuation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Good knowledge of the cultural nuances of the French language
• Proficiency in translation and interpretation tools and software
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Attention to detail and accuracy in linguistic work
• Ability to adapt to different writing styles and tones
• Strong research and analytical skills
• Flexible and open to feedback and collaboration
• Certification in Translation or Interpretation is a plus
• Experience in a similar role in a multicultural or multilingual environment is an advantage
• Understanding of SEO and digital content localization is beneficial
