Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver dynamic and comprehensive IBDP English lessons
• Design and implement effective teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students
• Develop and enhance the IBDP English curriculum
• Provide timely and constructive feedback to students
• Use innovative instructional methods to promote active learning
• Establish and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Collaborate with colleagues to align curriculum and share best practices
• Implement formative and summative assessments to measure student progress
• Support students in developing advanced language and literary analysis skills
• Participate in professional development activities to stay updated with best teaching practices
• Communicate effectively with students parents and colleagues
• Monitor and support student wellbeing and academic progress
• Participate in school events and extracurricular activities
• Encourage and support student involvement in the broader Englishspeaking community

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in English Education or related field
• Teaching certification or licensure
• Proven experience teaching IBDP English or similar international curriculum
• Deep understanding of the IBDP English curriculum and assessment criteria
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for language and literature
• Commitment to fostering students critical thinking and analytical skills
• Strong classroom management abilities
• Familiarity with educational technology and digital resources
