Key Responsibilities:
Quality Management Systems:
- Develop implement and maintain quality management systems (QMS) in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
- Establish quality policies procedures and guidelines to ensure consistency and compliance across the organization.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the QMS through regular audits and assessments.
Quality Assurance:
- Establish and maintain quality assurance processes to ensure that products meet customer requirements and specifications.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to prevent quality issues.
- Collaborate with product development and engineering teams to ensure that quality requirements are incorporated into the design and development process.
Quality Control:
- Oversee quality control activities including inspection testing and validation of products and processes.
- Develop and implement quality control plans and procedures to identify and address deviations from quality standards.
- Investigate and resolve quality issues customer complaints and nonconformances in a timely manner.
Continuous Improvement:
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality reduce waste and increase efficiency.
- Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions to address root causes of quality issues.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with relevant quality standards regulations and certifications.
- Stay uptodate on changes in regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Coordinate with regulatory affairs and compliance teams to ensure timely submission of regulatory filings and approvals.
Training and Development:
- Provide training and support to employees on quality standards procedures and tools.
- Foster a culture of quality and accountability throughout the organization.
- Encourage employee involvement in quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelors or Masters degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 10 years of leadership experience in quality assurance within the IT or software development sector.
- Comprehensive knowledge of software quality assurance techniques tools and platforms.
- Experience leading audit and compliance teams and overseeing IT certification and compliance procedures.
- Indepth knowledge of testing frameworks for functional and performance testing.
