Junior Data Engineer - Google Cloud Platform Lisbon or Porto based - hybrid-model

Tasks

We are seeking a motivated and detailoriented Junior Data Engineer interested and experienced in Google Cloud Platform (GCP). In this role you will be an integral part of our data engineering team working on the design implementation and maintenance of our data infrastructure. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in data engineering and gain handson experience with GCP technologies.

• Assist in the design development and maintenance of data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to ensure data availability and quality.
• Implement data ingestion processes using GCP services such as Pub/Sub Dataflow and BigQuery.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues ensuring high availability and performance.
• Support data warehousing and ETL processes.
• Contribute to data governance and security practices.
• Document technical processes and workflows.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience as a Data Engineer or Analytics Engineer.
• Expertise in GCP particularly datarelated services such as BigQuery Dataflow and Dataproc.
• Proficiency in SQL.
• Indepth knowledge of one or more programming languages preferably Python.
• Expertise in database design and data modeling.
• Expertise in DevOps Terraform CI/CD.
• Experience with the Agile Wayof Working.
• Big bonus if familiar with Kafka Azure Servicebus Airflow and DBT.
• Cloud certification in GCP it will be a plus.
