Job Description: Sr. Manager Business MIS

Job Summary:

The Senior Manager – Business MIS will be responsible for overseeing the creation management and continuous improvement of the MIS function for our mutual fund operations. This role involves data analysis reporting and the development of strategic insights to support business decisionmaking. The candidate will work closely with various departments to ensure accurate and timely information flow and enhance the effectiveness of the mutual fund business.

Key Responsibilities:

1. MIS Development and Management:

%2. Develop implement and manage MIS systems to ensure effective reporting and data analysis.

%2. Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data and reports provided to management and stakeholders.

2. Data Analysis and Reporting:

%2. Analyze complex data sets to identify trends patterns and insights that support business strategies and decisionmaking.

%2. Prepare and present detailed reports dashboards and presentations for senior management.

3. Strategic Planning Support:

%2. Collaborate with senior management to develop and refine business strategies based on datadriven insights.

%2. Support the development of business plans forecasts and budgets through robust data analysis.

4. Stakeholder Management:

%2. Liaise with various departments (e.g. Finance Sales Operations IT) to gather data and ensure cohesive reporting.

%2. Provide actionable insights to internal stakeholders to drive business performance.

5. Process Improvement:

%2. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in data management and reporting.

%2. Automate reporting processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual workload.

6. Compliance and Risk Management:

%2. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to data management and reporting.

%2. Monitor and mitigate risks associated with data integrity and reporting.

7. Team Leadership and Development:

%2. Lead mentor and develop a team of MIS analysts and data specialists.

Qualifications:

Education:

o Bachelor’s degree in Finance Business Administration Information Technology or a related field.

o MBA or advanced degree in a related field is preferred.

Experience:

o Minimum of 710 years of experience in MIS data analysis and reporting within the financial services industry preferably in mutual funds.

o Proven experience in leading and managing teams.

Technical Skills:

o Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g. SQL Excel Tableau Power BI).

o Strong understanding of financial markets mutual funds and investment products.

Soft Skills:

o Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.

o Strong communication and presentation skills.

o Ability to work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams.

o Detailoriented with a high degree of accuracy.

Preferred Attributes:

Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to mutual funds in India.
