AWS Devops Engineer Large Fintech Services

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. As an AWS DevOps Engineer you will be responsible for designing implementing and maintaining the infrastructure and tools necessary to support our continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline. You will work closely with development and operations teams to automate processes improve efficiency and ensure the reliability scalability and security of our cloudbased applications and systems.

Responsibilities:

1. Design implement and maintain AWS infrastructure using services such as EC2 S3 RDS Lambda IAM and VPC.
2. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins AWS CodePipeline or GitLab CI/CD.
3. Automate deployment configuration and monitoring processes using infrastructureascode (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
4. Implement and manage containerization solutions using Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes or Amazon ECS.
5. Monitor and optimize system performance reliability and cost.
6. Implement and maintain security best practices across all AWS services and infrastructure.
7. Collaborate with development and operations teams to troubleshoot issues and ensure smooth deployments.
8. Document infrastructure and processes to ensure knowledge sharing and maintainability.
9. Stay uptodate with AWS services best practices and industry trends.
10. Participate in oncall rotation and provide support for production systems as needed.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field or equivalent work experience.
2. Proven experience (25 Years) working as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
3. Strong understanding of AWS services and architecture.
4. Experience with infrastructureascode tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
5. Handson experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins AWS CodePipeline or GitLab CI/CD.
6. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python Bash or PowerShell.
7. Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes or Amazon ECS.
8. Knowledge of networking security and monitoring best practices in AWS.
9. Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
10. Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. AWS certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
2. Experience with serverless computing using AWS Lambda or similar technologies.
3. Familiarity with log management and monitoring tools such as ELK stack CloudWatch or Datadog.
4. Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps culture.
5. Knowledge of other cloud providers such as Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
