Job Description
We are searching for a talented Backend Developer with experience as a Data Engineer to join our team and support our client a leading pharmaceutical company committed to pioneering healthcare solutions for both humans and animals.
In this exciting role you will work as dedicated backend developer within the DUDE product team a PRODUCTIVE solution used worldwide built on Dataland leveraging unstructured data (e.g. medical information) and applying NLP and ML technics as well as cutting edge data technology.
The person will work in a truly SCRUM team following DevOps approach not only maintaining but also evolving the product and eventually developing new modules / extensions.
Requirements
- At least 5 years experience in backend engineering
- At least 2 years experience in data engineering.
- Strong expertise in Python and web frameworks like FastAPI.
- Experience with search engines like Elasticsearch OpenSearch or Lucene.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes and AWS.
- Experience in authentication/authorization.
- Familiarity with ETL (Extract Transform Load).
- Experience with Git/Bitbucket and Jenkins.
- Familiar with Scrum.
- Soft skills needed to be part of the team:
- Communication skills especially working in virtual and global teams
- Proactive autonomous transparent and customer focus mindset with care to the details.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problemsolving and analytical thinking skills.
- Continually learn and adapt to new technologies and situations understanding the why behind each scenario.
- Fluent English. Document all work in English. Spanish proficiency is a plus
