Job Description
This is a remote position.
We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Public Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial acumen budgeting and various accounting software applications.
- Prepare and examine financial records ensuring accuracy and compliance with laws and regulations
- Analyze financial information to recommend or develop efficient use of resources and procedures
- Perform general ledger reconciliation and maintain financial reports
- Assist with budget preparation and monitoring
- Provide expertise in areas such as private equity governmental accounting and financial concepts
- Utilize accounting software proficiently including Quickbooks
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license required
- Proven experience in public accounting
- Strong knowledge of financial concepts and principles
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Quickbooks
- Proficiency in general ledger reconciliation
