Job Description
Spare Parts Specialist
Position Summary: The successful candidate must have over 10 years of relevant experience in a multinational project in oil and gas plants.
Responsibilities:
Obtaining deep knowledge of spare parts in plant equipment including component life cycle and parts order analysis.
Issuing material requests according to prepared work orders and company procedures
Keeping the material request register updated with all the necessary information
Updating relevant information in SAP CMMS
Keeping track of company warehouse stocks
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
10 years related multinational exposure as supervisory experience related to parts operation or similar role in oil and gas plants (refineries LNG or petrochemical) or during plant erection and commissioning.
Fluent in written and spoken English language
Necessary Attributes:
Solid knowledge of the computer systems in use in the dealership.
Good understanding of financial principles relative to Parts Department operations.
Good understanding of pricing principles including retailpricing categorization.
A good working knowledge of parts sales techniques and methodologies.
Proven knowledge of SAP CMMS for materials management.
Required knowledge and skills to optimize stock parts inventory.
Solid inventory management knowledge.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Result driven approach and attitude.
